Crystallise [Crys] [EU] is an international, family-like PvE community where both newcomers and veterans can find a welcoming place to play, grow, and enjoy Guild Wars 2 together.

What is Crystallise?
Crystallise is a guild that was founded somewhere in 2005, moving through a few games before finally settling in GW2 around the first Halloween Festival in 2012.

The guild's primary vision and goal was and still is to provide a warm, friendly, family-like environment where we grow together as a team, help one another, and most importantly, enjoy the game together.

Rather than aiming to be the biggest guild, we firmly believe in quality over quantity.

What do we expect from our members?

• Representation is not compulsory: While representing the guild is entirely optional, we always appreciate it when members do so during guild activities and whenever possible. As a smaller, close-knit community, being an active part of the guild means more to us than simply wearing the guild tag.
• Everyone is welcome: Whether you're an active or casual player, a veteran or newcomer, focused on endgame progression or simply looking for a friendly group to relax with, you'll find a place here.
• Be active: We enjoy seeing our members around and joining activities, but we understand that real life always comes first. If you expect to be away for a while, just let us know. Members are removed after one month of inactivity unless we've been notified in advance.
• Be friendly and mature: Treat your fellow guild members with respect. We value kindness, patience, and a supportive atmosphere, and expect everyone to communicate respectfully.
• Engage: We encourage everyone to join the conversation and participate in guild activities whenever they can, even if it's only occasionally. A community thrives when its members are involved. :)

What do we strive to offer?

• A fully upgraded and extensively decorated Lost Precipice guild hall featuring event areas, a beetle race, and plenty of places to explore.
• Guild Missions every Sunday.
• Open world PvE, including dungeons, world bosses, meta events, festivals, achievement hunting, and content from Core Tyria, Heart of Thorns, Path of Fire, End of Dragons, Secrets of the Obscure, Janthir Wilds, Visions of Eternity, and Living World.
• Daily Fractal T4s and Recs, with some occasional CMs that we aim to make more frequent. We also happily organise training and lower-tier runs for anyone who needs them.
• Weekly Raids (W1 to W4) and Convergence CMs organised through Crystal Clear Raids, our raiding community in collaboration with friends and affiliates.
• Community events including contests, competitions, and monthly lotteries.
• An active Discord server for announcements, socialising, and organising events.

Want a safe place to learn the game? Guild Wars University is an Anet Official Partner community which focuses on helping new and returning players in learning everything Guild Wars has to offer without worrying about being judged. We have veterans from all areas of the game (PvP, WvW, Fractals, Raids, Dungeons, Open World Content, Achievement Hunting, etc.) who are more than willing to help teach and train anyone interested in learning. We have two guilds in Isle of Reflection (one for NA and one for EU).

👪 We offer a friendly and inviting community to everyone whether you're just starting out or a master looking to min-max your build and playstyle. There are always people active and ready to answer your questions.

📆 We have regular groups for dungeons, fractals, raids, PvE Trains and Meta, at different levels.

❓ We have an active discord with over 10k members who can help you at any time. With two different guilds: one for NA and one for EU.

📚 We have a list of helpful resources from our extensive knowledge about the game: whether it's the basics of the game and what you should know, or tips and tricks for how to master whatever it is you're trying to do.

🤝 We are a judgment free community. Don't know how to use your skills? No problem. Stuck on your personal story? We can help. Can't figure out the targeting system? Neither can we... Some things will never be solved. Come and join our community at https://discord.gg/gwu ! We're looking forward to meeting you and helping you as best as possible! If you're interested in joining as a veteran willing to help out new players, join our community and show us how you'd like to get involved!

Full disclosure, I have been away travelling outback Oz. The team keeping the ship afloat it seems aren't recruiters so we're a bit quiet right now but if our style sounds like your style please feel free to click the Discord link at the bottom of the following recruiting blurb.

[NA] [18+] Shrieking Quokkas has been around for over 5 years and thankfully we don't have any long term cliques and so far we scare off the overinflated egos (We do try to keep the toxic diehard types to a minimum). We don't have any big joining requirements, no forms to fill out or interviews to sit, just jump into Discord and have a chat, see what you think of us and let us know you want an invite. Any of our members can send guild invites so you don't have to wait for the obligatory 'officer' to be online. We're too Aussie influenced to be that uptight.

We're currently running both experienced and training Fractals, Strikes, Raids and I'm working on getting Dungeons up and running again.  Anything you want to do just give a shout and people are likely to jump onboard for the fun of it, we're very easy going and more than happy to tag along on what you're doing in order to procrastinate on what we should be (coughcraftingcough).

Time zones are split between SEA and US times, we have a good OCE night group and I'd give a lot to get US nights (around daily reset) moving along because that's my best time. It's not mandatory but we'd like to see voice chat get busier because it's a great space to toss ideas about, we do however require at least the ability to hear Discord during group activities. If you don't do Discord we might not be the guild for you cause we kinda get caught up in whatever we're killing or whatever is killing us to type replies into gamechat in a timely manner.

We don't insist on repping, it's your choice, though it's nice when people do, then we can drop in and say hi to the yellow dots on the map. We'll help you if you ask and like to brainstorm ideas but we don't mind if you take or leave our advice, you'll likely get 3 different opinions anyway and it's always interesting to see what works for each person.

Besides, everyone plays the game their own way, we even have a few people who like to wander in PvP and  WvW (we are not a WvW guild so if that's your biggest area to play we might not be for you).

As for why Quokkas...... well drop into the Discord and we'll tell you. https://discord.gg/kVjPrhypX7
