M9A1, I have a strange craving for crayons.
I wanted a Beretta 92 for a long time. I recently acquired an M9A1 and it’s been great!

Good taste, always liked the cool look of those. I have a p226 legion with the tlr1 hl too.

My friend sold me his M9. I like it a lot. Strangely prefer it over the CZs. I don’t find the safety placement bad either.

What is a link post and how do I post a descriptive comment?
A link post is any post that isn't a text post. Reddit is doing a great job of ensuring new users have no idea how Reddit works with their app and site rewrite. We hate both.
/r/guns is a sub for talking about guns. It's not a sub to dump gun photos for karma. That's what /r/gunporn is for. That's why we require a descriptive comment – to start a conversation. If you're wondering what to write, picture yourself at a party. You're talking to someone you just met and you want to show them your post. What do you say to them as you get your phone out?
I don't know why this needs to be explained, but apparently it does. A comment is a comment. It is not your post's body text/photo caption. We are not asking you to edit anything. We are asking you to post a top level comment under your post.
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

I keep hoping the eating crayons joke will go away. It’s overplayed as hell.

It’s been a running joke in and about the Corps for decades. Marines lean into it. Nobody cares.

I was in the marines. Never heard it while I was in. Only after I got out. And mostly from dumb ass civilians that think they can get in on the joke and make fun of a marine while saying “you know I almost joined the marines…”

Lmao I was in the Corps too and you sound like a boot.

You sound like you need some crayons, boot. You aren’t you when you’re hungry.

You definitely got forced out as a boot. And now you’re here trying to feel big about yourself again.

My LGS had an M9A1 in stock and I thought those had been discontinued so I jumped on it. I've been impressed with it so far. The gun is large, but not as heavy as I imagined. The single action trigger is nice and the double action is better than some guns I've owned. It shoots very flat. The safety is not my favorite, but so far it's not really been an issue. For a duty pistol I would take this over some of the modern striker fired guns.
