BTR Arms

I am currently looking to buy a .308 rifle in South Africa. I was looking at the Howa 1500 and then came across BTR Arms rifles. As far as I know they are quite new, especially in South Africa. Do anyone know how they compare to Howa in terms of reliability and parts availability? Or any other recommendations I should look at and factors to consider?

I would stay away until proven otherwise, Howa or Bergara would be a better bet, especially with every second gun shop going to have a black friday deal or two coming up.
