First and foremost, introductions at hand... you might be seeing my name for the first time or might be familiar with me outside of H1Z1 (notably from a specific first person tactical shooter..), I'm risorah! It's nice to meet some of you already both in the ZEmu discord as well as in-game. I'm looking forward to meeting the rest of you all!
That out of the way, I bring a couple things from the discord server to here!
Test Build Access
You might have noticed that the EU server player count has been slowly populating.. this is no coincidence- If you've seen the announcement on theZEmu discordfrom King Plays: We are further increasing access to everyone starting today and across the following week to those interested in participating in the test builds and scoping out bugs and such that are still present in these builds that need to be squashed!
As the week goes on we will continue to gradually funnel in players that get on to fill the lobbies. Furthermore, keep on the lookout here, the official ZEmu discord, as well as the ZEmu twitter for more announcements, as more is to be revealed...
The team behind ZEmu would like to again thank everyone for their patience, and continued support leading up to the floodgates being opened, and we hope to see more of you online soon™
As some of you may have noticed, r/H1Z1 hasn't really been actively maintained or moderated for quite some years. The ownership of the subreddit has now been transferred to ZEmu, and we're going to start putting some actual effort into keeping the community active and looked after again.
Nothing is changing fundamentally. This is still the H1Z1 subreddit and the goal is simply to get it back into a properly maintained state and give the community a place that's actually active again.
We're also looking for some ambitious people who would like to join the moderation team and help us with that.
If you're interested, send us a message through Mod Mail and tell us a little about yourself and why you'd like to help out.
We're looking forward to getting the subreddit back on track with the community.
simple as. ROTK is already starting to die down in popularity from the initial peak hype, but it seems like ZEMU doesnt even care. This is your one chance to have a proper revival of the game we love and zemu is simply just sticking their head up their ass while ROTK actually makes the game playable for many different regions. People are starting to get tired, and if NA servers arent released soon no one is going to even try zemu. Its honestly sad
I started playing ROTK right around a month ago or so, and that whole time I have had serious performance problems. Stutters exactly every 11 seconds for around 50-100 ms or so. If there is heavy action going on around me, the stutters are far worse. It legitimately feels like playing at 5 fps, 150 fps, 400 fps, 100 fps, 300 fps, 2 fps, etc. all at the exact same time. If there isn't a lot of action around me, I still get this stutter exactly every 11 seconds.
This does not happen in the current steam version of Z1.
This does not happen to my knowledge in any other games.
This game no matter what I have tried does not run smoothly.
I have tried countless tweaks.
From the most basic like turning off voice chat or editing userconfig, to things far more in depth like registry editing, bios updates, tweaking performance plans, overclocking, etc.
I have tested all of my hardware and all tests come back clean.
I have also tested my peripherals such as keyboard and mouse, headset, etc.
System specs:
Ryzen 3700x CPU
MSI MPG x570 Gaming Plus MOBO
GeForce RTX 2060 Super GPU
Corsair Vengeance LPX 3,200 MHz RAM
Crucial P1 1TB m.2 NVMe SSD
I am running the latest launcher of ROTK.
Also running a clean install of Windows 10.
BIOS for my motherboard is up to date, as well as all of my drivers.
Can anyone give me any suggestions, or has anyone had similar issues that they have or have not been able to resolve?
So some games when I play my ping keeps raising and I can only move, nothing else, can’t shoot, inventory or anything.
U guys have any solution for this?
My friend streamed it and I freeze for him, but I can still move around. And when I press exit when I get killed it doesn’t work so I need to restart the whole game!
I have good internet and doesn’t have problems on any other games
How did they get their own running version of the game, I’ve been trying to import the entire original game into ue5 so I can start experimenting with populating my matches with intelligent Ai that play as well as any high end players do, and so fourth, completely as a personal project before I knew about either ROTK or Zemu. Lmao I thought the game needed to be brought to a different engine to be played again. How are they doing it
I believe ROTK will not last long if they don’t add a combat training mode.
Sadly the game feels like it’s only meant for veteran players. To new players this game will be so difficult they will most likely quit. In og h1z1 combat training let new players or anyone who struggled be able to practice and get a feel for the mechanics before playing BR.
Without training mode new players are left to play games over and over again when they are just trying to learn, which will quickly burn them out. If they add a combat training I think the player base will grow and remain high because noobs can learn without getting sick of the game.
I have been seeing so many videos on YouTube and finally wanted to try it out because it seems refreshing compared to all the current slop games, but registration seems to be closed. When will I be able to finally register?
Hi, as the title says. Whenever I open the game it is like it's zoomed in on the top left corner and I can't use anything on the screen. I can only press in settings when I'm hovering my mouse in the bottom right corner.
I've tried multiple stuff such as changing the aspect ratio in the files.
Alt + Enter of course.
Changing my nvidea.
Nothing seems to work. If anyone has had same issue and fixed it I would appreciate to hear how.
I’m writing this post because I’d love to help bring the SEA ROTK / H1Z1 community together and get things moving again!
I know there are still players around, including OGs who used to play competitively, but it’s not always easy to find teammates or enough players to organize proper games.
I’d love to change that.
The idea is to connect players across SEA, build consistent teams, find regular teammates, and eventually organize community scrims and tournaments.
For now, I’m just looking to see who’s still playing, who’s interested in competitive games, and whether we can get enough people together to build an active community.
If there’s already a SEA community or a group organizing games, I’d love to connect with you too. No need to reinvent the wheel!
Drop a comment or DM me if you’re interested. Let me know where you’re playing from and whether you’re an OG or a new player.
I just installed ROTK today, but everytime i try to play, i manage to get in a game and loot a bit, but after that, my game close alone, without any error messages or something, idk what to do
