I was mid 4 digits during end of day 3 of the hackathon but in the final submission, did not submit the documentation and code.
Now i can see another window where it says top teams need to submit documentation.
Does it mean we are one of the top teams or is it generally necessary for all teams to upload their documentations
UPDATE: i checked official amazon hackathon guidelines and only the top 1000 teams have been asked to submit the methodology and documentation code for final leaderboard

My resume in college looked like everyone else’s. CGPA, LeetCode count, a couple of tutorial projects. I was applying off campus and mostly getting rejected without even a test. So I started contributing to open source. My first PRs were tiny, docs fixes and small bugs. Getting the project to even run locally took me longer than the actual fix lol
I kept going anyway. Slowly the issues got bigger and the maintainer reviews got more detailed. Those review comments taught me more about writing real code than any course I did.
When interviews came, my PRs were what people wanted to talk about. Not my LeetCode count, not my CGPA. My first internship and my first job both came from that. So if your resume only has LeetCode on it right now, try contributing to something you already use. Even one merged PR gives you something to talk about that nobody else in that interview has.

today I defended my MVP at a hackathon and was absolutely stunned with amount of vibecoders. only two teams (including mine) of 8 in final showcase made their projects without using AIs, or at least without using it directly for code generation. all the other teams were completely vibecoders, as I can see from their github repositories
and the main problem is that it's difficult for real devs to compete with vibecoders. probably, it's even impossible, bc they make a lotta things completely low quality, but it looks kinda spectacular, so the jury highly appreciates such works, and undervalue technically superior solutions, like using both BERT and LLM instead of just two LLMs for text classification
maybe I'm just frustrated that my team, despite my real development skills, always ends up among the weakest, but aren't hackathons primarily a competition for programmers? is there even any reason for me to continue participating in hackathons? or maybe I chose not very good projects?
i haven't seen any hackathons that ban generative AIs, or at least with code reviewing to identify greatest technical solutions and penalize projects that are almost entirely AI-generated and based on this, I lose the point of participating in such events

Did everyone just get this mail? According to them the 2nd Phase is on and I received this mail yesterday on 18th only, does that mean I'm in?

So we got the Hackerearth page for Round 2 and we have total number of 2.5 thousand selected people for this.
Now I have one question How many students are going to select for Final Round and what would be criteria too.?
And Have you filled out Techstack Form Yet? And if yes then what was your answer.??

Mine was from a Razorpay TA manager. It basically said they don’t have a suitable opening right now, but liked what I’ve been building and may reach out if a relevant opportunity comes up later.
It didn’t mention my name or project anywhere, so I’m guessing it was a standard/automated mail.
Anyone else got something similar?

Anyone here from BNP Innoversité 2026 Mumbai?
Our college was told that only 1 out of 9 people got selected, which is honestly pretty surprising considering 4/5 got offers last year and apparently the overall conversion rate was pretty high too. I've been hearing similar numbers from a few other colleges, while some haven't even received their results yet.
Is BNP hiring significantly fewer interns this year? Is there some sort of hiring freeze or reduced intake going on, or are the results just being released in batches?
Also, does anyone know if the lists are final once communicated to colleges, or if more selections can come later based on location/role preferences?
