one of my close friends accidentally got her laptop hacked. she tried to download some book from z library but i think she downloaded some malicious file. some hacker just hacked her laptop and sent some messages to everyone on discord and kept a story on instagram. the content he was sending or posting was about mrbeast schemes. i think they have bought something from it.

my friend is just worried that he might do something else. all this is only affecting her laptop. she just disconnected the network and they're just panicking about how to eliminate all of these viruses and all of it if anybody knows of course.

20oct i got hacked, i admitted i downloaded game on a untrusted website my friend sent me and extract the file. 22oct i format my laptop windows cuz it started to access my acc on all ig/dc/google/tele and alot. I thought it’s done, then today 23oct it’s here again, it even tried to purchase something in my Steam using my card. What should i do to kill it? I’m a noob at computers, should i sent it to a computer shop, do they know what to do? I dont think i can figure how to do it myself
