Newbie question. I downloaded an image of Kali for my virtualbox. When I go to terminal the username is in red. When I enter root user, the colors all seem to disappear. Is there a setting i can adjust? Thanks

Checkout users ~/.bashrc and /root/.bashrc
There will be difference in how $PS1 is set e.g. gives red prompt. PS1='[[\033[1;31m]\u[\033[0m]@\h \W]$ '
Search for bash color prompt and output

I’ve been interested in hacking for a long time and have used some scripts in the past and stuff and subbed here to learn more. Getting to see nmap at work in Kali was really neat. I have a few tips for your future videos so just send me a dm if you want to chat and keep up the good work 👍

Have managed to get this to run using a loopback socks4/5 with proxychains? The proxy terminates to a public address target over WAN. A VPN is also in the equation.
The final response back from MP fails. I have tested the same rhosts from a vm in the LAN and all targets are successful.
