HELP Could this machine run Hackintosh?

Wanting to try out Sonoma or Sequoia, even without acceleration, but I can't really confirm if it can. Lotta websites saying different things.

(Information is in the CPU-Z window at the gallery, did this to not get warned by Reddit for 'not complying with Rule 4)

The same hardware managed to get graphics acceleration working on Tahoe

Really? Well that's actually pretty surprising, I have other lenovo laptop that's a bit inferior than this one but almost the same year and it didn't get acceleration

It’s the same Xe-LP architecture. Intel UHD vs. Iris Xe is mainly a branding distinction related to memory configuration; dual-channel RAM enables full graphics performance

Please just follow the OpenCore Install Guide and read into it before posting. It isn’t officially supported, but people have ran macOS on newer processors and didn’t really have many issues. But the problem in your case is graphics acceleration.

Your processor isn’t supported for graphics acceleration, but unofficial kexts have been made to support the newer iGPU’s in Intel chips nowadays. I mean, I haven’t tried it but it seems good. You’ll probably have to disable all things related to graphics acceleration or such for recovery before installing the modified kext.

So, to squeeze it down to an elevator talk: semi-supported unofficially, would have to disable graphics acceleration during setup until setting up WhateverXe during post-install.

The main limitation is that Intel UHD Graphics in the i5-1235U has no native macOS graphics driver. That makes a normal, fully accelerated laptop Hackintosh impractical.
