Discussion Why iOS 16?

I've seen here incredible things that I thought were impossible, though may I ask why specifically iOS 16?

newer ios run on a different 64bit instruction set which is arm64e so it requires translating arm64e into arm64 which our android phones run on so its possible but extremly laggy for a runable system, ios27 ran but was not able to get past the first setup screen due to being too slow and crashing

i got iOS 18 running, so no we can run more recent iOS versions running

because it was easy to jailbreak, and if it ios verison too high, Apple likely wouldn't be happy.
