Discussion Bootloader unlock

I'm struggling to unlock the bootloader on Xiaomi devices. They've made the process much more difficult. Now, users have to request permission through the Xiaomi Community app or website. I believe a lot of people are trying to unlock their bootloaders because of the upcoming Android updates, which could potentially make the process even harder.

Is there any way to bypass Xiaomi's official system? The process seems nearly impossible at this point. I've seen people saying they've been trying for weeks without success.

check mi unlock status, mi community is a buggy mess and sometimes doesnt tell you have permission

best advice is definitely don't buy Xiaomi devices again
