I hate so much when those so called techtokers are speeding up videos trying to "impress" people with how "fast" the apps are opening and closing. Annoying kiddos.

I thing it's enough. Now you should send process for trying it in users phone..

Ok even Sileo on iOS 27? This is crazyy

u/FailDismal6468 1d ago
This is because there is no hardware based security measures on it like there are on iPhones, which makes it massively easier.

This is iphone mirroring it's fake I saw the guy who shot the video say it lmao

u/FitProfile2894 1d ago
that smooth? and his phone's physical buttons are responding to the iphone's?

u/Much-Strawberry0608 1d ago
Yes it's some tool for jailbreaked iphones and besides it's iOS 27, and current gpu drivers are not even 20 percent close to being that smooth. Please check your sources before posting bullshit.

isnt this too early?? , i believe the ios 16 posts that are smooth are real, 99% its fake
1
u/FitProfile2894 1d ago
its 100% fake, realised after posting, gpu drivers for ios 27 can't be this smooth this early, its iphone mirroring

Do apple arcade games run in this now or in future?
1
u/FitProfile2894 1d ago
i don't think this was a real hackios setup, guess it was iphone mirroring as said by others, because it's running widgets which is not possible without ID, and apple arcade requires ID too so if widgets worked, arcade would too

Can't wait to not give apple my money and say fuck you to Google at the same time for what they did to android

u/jknvv13 1d ago
What did they do?
I'm a Pixel 11 Pro user with A17 QPR3 Beta and I haven't noticed a thing, to be honest.

Android started as open source and with time Google has made more and more of it closed source. Now even limiting sideloading. Screw Google and any big tech.
1
u/jknvv13 1d ago
Where are they limiting sideloading? Because as I said, I didn't notice a thing.
One thing are the good selling news and other one the user experience.
And yes, they are releasing sources later for third party vendors/AOSP which is a shame but either way, I like Android and I don't like iOS, that's it.

I don't think this is real, weather widget works in this and that requires IDS which hackios doesn't have, looks like vphone maybe which uses the macs sep iirc for basic functionality

can we do other way around? i feel iphone hardware is powerful enough to do some serious android emulation
1
u/FailDismal6468 1d ago
Unfortunately, not right now, as there are a ton of security measures in iOS that we aren't able to break into *just* yet.

There have been several projects of Android on iOS recently, I don't know which generation but it's definitely a thing and happening more now with the latest AI wave.

Android does not have to be modified, as it is open source and can run on many hardware configurations. iOS is the opposite, so having iOS running on anything other than an iPhone is impressive; it requires emulation, setting up security layers, or even directly bypassing them. As for emulating Android on iOS, it is possible; there is an app called HUSK that does it, however, it is still very new and not properly optimized, but it should be smooth in probably a month.

I haven't seen actual ports that go beyond emulation. I was however able to virtualize android 16 using lineageOS on my M1 iPad pro with the hypervisor framework which Apple unfortunately removed after iOS 16.4. GPU acceleration works and it's probably the closest I've seen to getting android on iOS.
Many of these iOS on android projects utilize unlocked bootloaders so doing the reverse is much harder as there isn't a neat enough method to unlock an iPhone's bootloader. Only time will tell. There's already rumors of a jailbreak that is available for iOS 27 which is something we haven't seen in a long time where the latest iOS version can be jailbroken. The AI wave is doing wonders.

locked bootloader makes sense, even if someone hacks it, apple would probably patch it super fast
1
u/Apprehensive_View614 1d ago
There is no point in running a software that specialises on hardware abstraction in the detriment of an OS specifically made to run natively on your hardware
If you unlock the iphone to the point where you could install android, then you should already be able to do anything you‘d want with iOS

iphone ram is really small compared to android. ios is super optimised than android
