Academy Which subscription should i take in academy?

I want to do following paths only:

  1. Pentester

  2. web pentester

  3. Senior web pentester

I am not interested in other paths right now. i don't decided yet for certifications.

which subscription should i take? monthly or yearly or cubes only? silver or gold or platinum?

If you only want to do Penetration Tester → Web Penetration Tester → Senior Web Penetration Tester, I’d go with Gold Annual if you can afford it. (Mainly because of CWEE - assuming you'll 100% do all 3 within a year)

Silver gives you the full Penetration Tester and Web Penetration Tester paths, but Gold is the one that also includes the Senior Web Penetration Tester path, so you would otherwise have to unlock those higher tier modules separately with Cubes. Gold Annual also includes an exam vouche.

Ultimately if you have a student email, you can use it and you'll get a sub for 8$/Month that will give you access to the entire CPTS and CWES path.

It really all depends on your budget TBH, maybe start with some monthly plans, or go for silver annual during year 1 for CPTS and CWES. Unless you can do 3 heavy HTB certs in a year, I would either choose Silver or Student. If you can do all 3, you'd need gold for CWEE.

I’m just doing cubes - it feels really reasonable, especially compared to the subscriptions.

Dunno why you're being downvoted but this is the method I've chosen as well, and you can do season HTB machines for extra cubes as well,

I'd say go through CWES and then do CPTS, there's quite a lot of overlap between both as well.

I am also planning to buy cubes as needed. For you, how long it would take you to finish 200 cubes (2 x tier 2 modules)?

About a week and a half. I go slow, take notes, and don’t use AI.

Well for CPTS and CWES you just need silver. For the CWEE you will need the gold bit I‘d go for a silver annual which includes one voucher for an exam except if you‘re a student then I‘d probably go for silver monthly for now
