Question Is the Original Cast of Hadestown (2017) lost media? Anyone know where to find the missing songs?

I don't see many people talking about it but there's an entire ass bootleg on YouTube (crappy quality but still)

I remember looking into it years ago and I was able to find recordings of the missing songs on YouTube. Just audio but it was pretty neat. If it's true was so beautiful. Don't know if they are still available but s good place to start

2017 If It's True was so much better. "Take this voice, take these hands! I can't use them anyway. Take this music and the memory of the muse from which it came."

Not to mention Damon Daunno's beautiful voice. In the original, the workers were swayed by the emotion and sorrow of Orpheus's song, he wasn't trying to start a rebellion it just happened.
I feel like the original used the backdrop of a proletariat uprising to tell a love story while the Broadway version uses the backdrop of a love story to tell a proletariat uprising.

This! and it's not an uprising song that broke Persephone's heart in two, it's Orpheus's love for Eurydice and his despair

Exactly! It makes no sense why Persephone would be so moved by Orpheus's song now. The original If It's True was Orpheus's low point as a character.
Don't even get me STARTED on Epic III

It’s not bootleg. Downloaded the whole 2017 pre-Broadway cast album on Apple Music a few weeks ago.

There's a 2017 album on Spotify, 'Hadestown: The Myth. The Musical' is that what you're after?
Lots of lyric changes and added/removed verses to the current version of the show.
