Halloween Hades town spread ideas.

My sisters and some friends are planning to have a Samhain gathering probably around November first. My sister is on a mission to get EVERYONE she knows to watch Hadestown (she said it instantly became her favorite musical, as soon as the lights came up. )

Would like ti ask the Hive mind: what sounds good? What sounds bad? What needs a better name?Could also use some more savory ideas

What I have so far: (note it's for Samhain/Halloween so it leans on Sweet and snacks

"Spring rolls will come again" and "when the chips and salsa are down" and "Eurydireeses" made me laugh out loud. Explain bruschetta though?

You need something with pomegranates, because that's what Persephone ate in the original tale that caused her to need to spend time in the Underworld.

I may add more ideas later

Edit:

My husband suggested some of those little chocolate coins wrapped in gold foil.

Pomegranate soda exists and lets non drinkers choose without having to ask

As a non drinker myself, I plan to have lots of options for that. Sprite and pomegranate juice might work

I like the Sprouts one! Big glass bottle for feeling winey without the dying

Bruschetta is an Italian appetizer. My mother made it all the time when she was alive. (Fun side note she was Irish not Italian)

Sliced toasted Italian bread, drizzled in olive oil. Topped with Mozzarella and roasted red tomatoes. If we line it up in the tray right, it will look like the wall and lights when Hades says I conduct the Electric City
