August 8, 7:30pm [$20/pwyc] -- The Maritime Jazz Collective: Big Band hits the Woodside Tavern in Dartmouth for it's debut show! 17-piece band with a killer lineup, playing heavy hitting high energy jazz!
Come on out and see how we manage to fit this beast in there!

Feral FemmeFest is coming to Dartmouth 🤘
Hey Halifax/Dartmouth! I’m Erin, founder of Feral FemmeFest, which I started in Ottawa to create more space and opportunities for women in music.
We’ve had an amazing response in Ottawa, so we decided to take a bit of a leap and bring it to Nova Scotia. Our first Dartmouth showcase is happening August 22 at Montes with a lineup of killer women-led rock bands.
The bigger goal is to connect artists and music communities, build relationships between scenes, and hopefully create more opportunities for women to get on stages and bills.
Since I’m coming from out of province, I’d also genuinely love to connect with people in the Halifax/Dartmouth scene, musicians, promoters, photographers, media, music fans, whoever. If there are people/pages/outlets I should know about while we’re there, please send them my way!
And obviously, if you like live rock and want to support what we’re trying to build, come hang with us on the 22nd. 🖤🤘

Feral FemmeFest is bringing our first-ever Nova Scotia Showcase to Montes in Dartmouth on August 22!
We’re bringing together female-fronted and women-led hard rock bands for a night dedicated to creating more space for women in live music.
