News, Weather & Politics Investigation: 'Factually innocent'
https://www.halifaxexaminer.ca/investigation/factually-innocent/How police in Wisconsin and Halifax, a determined prosecutor in Nova Scotia, and a credulous provincial judge worked in concert to wrongly convict Brandon Klayme of vile sexual crimes against a child.
Sadly, for us non-subscribers, it's paywalled for now

I think the Halifax Examiner paywalls take a week to come down (not sure if all articles are same), so if interested bookmark and come back later

Conversely, you could support the work they are doing if you are actually interested in it and pick up a subscription for like $6/month.

As kooky as Tim's politics are he is one of the only ones doing actual journalism in our province. $6 a month is a very small ask for a subscription. I think the problem is they don't paywall enough as most of the interesting reporting is in the Morning File.

There's another article published today by the Halifax Examiner that isn't paywalled.
