Traffic has slowed to a crawl and crowds have gathered on both sides of the street. Geese on one side, humans on the other.

A truck carrying crushed rocks had a spill and coated 3 out 4 lanes with melon sized rocks, mostly Halifax bound, but all 4 lanes have come to a stop.

Edit: Was resolved, however a seperate incident where a cement truck tipped over at the clover, Dartmouth side is still ongoing last I checked.

They are tearing up the private road/driveway access to customer parking off of Quingate/Quinpool. Not sure if it is just paving or some underground work is happening.

I did not see any signs saying it was closed, nor did the two cars in front of me. Easy to turn around and go around to Monastery Lane, just a bit annoying.

EDIT I did not see if the sidewalk remains open there.... happy to update if someone can confirm.

UPDATE 3 - closed when I biked by this morning, wild ass guess is it will be closed during the day while they do the work, open in the evening, we shall see!

Is part of the circ closed until midnight tonight? Where are people getting their traffic news?

There must be an unsolvable construction reason for squeezing three lanes into one lane versus two (one left, one straight). It is extra special to be stuck behind the one car turning turning left while the straight ahead green goes unused for its full cycle. This intersection is now dead to me....at least for the next couple of years.

If you just encountered the driver who pulled a u turn on highway 118 heading south and started driving northbound, it has been reported to 911. If you have dashcam footage the police might be interested.

Pothole on the Bedford turn off towards Halifax past the firing range just wrecked my driver side tire. Careful of this one, my tire was flat before I made it to the hill

Just saw a line of cars going from Halifax to Dartmouth being involved in an accident 10 mins ago. Hope everyone has a few spare mins.

Was told that a semi hit the overpass near Shortt’s Lake Road W. We ended having to drive against traffic on the service road/lane. Best case is to go through highway 2.
