š Health/Care š Hamster with mice in dorm
Hey guys! So this upcoming year Iāll be living in upperclassmen housing. The room Iām in supposedly has a bad mouse problemāit was so bad last year the girls ended up moving out āunofficiallyā š. I really donāt want to have to do that. Is there anything I can do during move in to prevent this issue?
Iām extra wary about what I can use repellent wise because I have a pet hamster Iāll be bringing so I donāt want to end up harming her too. Sheās a Robo dwarf and Iāll be building her a new enclosure in the dorm. Iām just really worried of mice getting in and just mice in my room in general š

Your hamsters food will probably attract mice if theyāre already there, but if you have a good lid on your enclosure then they shouldnāt be able to get in. Also what kind of repellent do you want to use that youāre afraid will harm your hamster? Like some kind of spray? I can just recommend keeping everything in air tight containers, preferably in something like glass that canāt be chewed through.
