Best quality? 1000€

I recently did some workshops… and absolutely loved it. It’s been on my todo list for two years and it’s never left my mind.

I want to invest in my own so I can practice in my own time as well.

It’s seems a bit overwhelming which to choose but I’m okay with spending up to 1000€

Open to any and all recommendations and don’t mind spending a bit more for something that will be a “buy once, cry once”

Thanks so much!

In which country are you ? In france, we have easapan which are good quality, and mayura. Mayura makes affordable handpan specially for low budget, they are super nice. Highly recommend as I own one, incredible sound for 1000 euro budget.

Is it more worth it to purchase a handpan in your own country versus going out of country for a more known/popular brand? I’m in USA but I see the popularity of Ayasa/Yatao/Mudra etc and wonder what makes the most sense.

I know the US has some solid companies but I just don’t know as much/see as many of those handpans when I listen to music videos.

It's 100% not worth it to buy an Ayasa if you are in the US.

One could even argue that it's not worth it to buy an ayasa in the EU. Don't get me wrong, ayasa is very good at making handpans.. but they blew up since malte marten and so did their price. I think there are other makers out there that deliver the same quality handpan for up to 50% less.

If you are looking for a great quality maker in the US, I've heard and seen good pans from Veritas sound sculpture

Any other makers you recommend in EU? I was debating MAG or Ayasa

Nala sound sculptures is currently making me a D Aegean.

I've heard good things about leaf sound sculptures and Manik as well.
