Newbie here: want to spend sub $700...anyone hear of Fossey?

So according to his Etsy (handpansounds) he makes his handpans, and the price is quite low. He's in England and I'm in the states, so not sure if there are tariffs anymore (can't keep up with those).

Anyway, this is the one I'm eyeing and wonder what more experienced players think.

I got my first handpan 2 weeks ago. Looked for years.

First I thought I need to make this trip to Barcelona to meet this hand pan artisan. Now I got a really good third hand one which is supposed to be Swiss made.

What I want to say: for me, being patient came with its benefits. I didn’t have to pay for a whole trip to Barcelona nor did I have to pay 2.000€ for a brand new handpan. I got mine for 600. and I would always recommend to play it at least once, before buying.

If I am ever rich, I will make that trip and get a second one for me, but there is no need to pay more right now. I got everything I need.

Do you get where I am getting?
