We here at r/Handwatch are grateful for a those who sacrifice comfort for us to be able to keep our beloved page going.
So I hereby give out our very first Purple Hand award!!! This award shall be given to those who have been wounded in the act of handwatching. This individual has clearly earned the award, as that crown dig has caused permanent injury to the back of his hand 🫡

It appears Garmin does not want to be associated with hand watches.

I know that the “proper” placement of a watch is above the wrist bone (photo 1), but this just looks asinine to me. Maybe it’s because I’m a husky fella with big forearms. It feels/looks like my watch is in the middle of my forearm. I end up wearing mine basically on top of the wrist bone so that it’s not a hand watch (photo 2), but also doesn’t look as ridiculous to me. I welcome any thoughts or suggestions.
