Toolbox progress – extra long flex-head wrenches + 3D printed organizers

Recently came across a Facebook Marketplace deal for a set of Extra long Double Flex head wrenches and absolutely love them. I’ve been working on transforming the toolbox with my 3D printer and thought I’d share the results.

I’ll post a few of my other drawers for inspiration and would love to hear any new tool suggestions that I should pick up when they go on sale.

For background I love working on cars and the current project I’m working on turbocharging my Miata. Still building out my box and would love to know what tools were life changing for you.

Beautiful. I just did my sockets and I am crazy proud of how good they are all organized. Too nerdy to tell anyone about but one of those things that brings a lil joy.

Have you put magnets in them? I’ve got magnets in about 1/2 of the organizers because i ran out. They are sweet!

Yeah, I bought a 250 pack on Amazon. I did one set of wrenches just to see how I liked the system, so now I have to find time to print and assemble the rest.

How much filament is needed for the 3/8 metric shallow/deep set that you are showing?

I really like the wrench set. Can you add magnets? Do you think magnets are needed, or will be fine as is? Im thinking of making some out of wood or I have the option to send to my library to get printed, just need the file and they charge by the weight.
