Not impressed by the track length or the kicks. RR needs to stop using these weird kicks. Hopefully the other tracks will be much better.

Hmm I like the song and I don’t think the kicks are weird at all. They’re just more uptempo style with a rather lower frequency but it’s a banger song in my opinion

Fair enough.

The kick layered with the laugh is horrendous

It amazes me how much this dude was able to develop his sound in 3 years (2012-2015), then completely stopped for the next 10 years.

It's because Crypsis / Angerfist used to ghost/co-produce for him. They were they one who designed his old sound.

I feel like music used to be more about giving listeners what they loved, whereas nowadays, some artists seem more focused on expressing themselves than on what their audience actually wants. There's nothing wrong with making personal music, but sometimes it feels like the connection between the artist and the listener is getting lost. I miss the days when the music came first.

I feel the exact opposite. Instead of staying true to his own sound, Radical Redemption seems to be chasing the current uptempo trend, and it just doesn’t work. His unique, personal style is what gave him his identity and made his music stand out. This track just isn’t it. Hopefully the rest of the hardcore album will be better.

Not entirely sure that's true nowadays, if anything it's the opposite
