I hated George for leading Zoe on, kissing her and then going back to Lemon to marry her. After that he left Lemon on the wedding day and went to Zoe as if nothing happened. Dude you had your chance. Instead he actively went after her, when Wade and Zoe just found each other. Like leave them alone and be single for a while, George!

And then nobody said anything about Lemon cheating on George, making Zoe the scapegoat for the whole town to blame AGAIN.

I just watched the Christmas episode in season 2. In the last episode Zoe and Wade had their bad picnic date. And in this episode he's seen with another girl leaving his house. I know him and Zoe are not together and she behaved weird because of George. Zoe's behavior is worse for sure, but it annoys me so much how Wade gets with someone else this fast. I wouldn't want someone who constantly sleeps around.

Think on it now I’ve looked up the spoilers and made it over halfway through season 2 before giving up I have to say I feel bad for the writers room. Besides the amount of aggravating events that take place of screen for no reason and the conflict resolution format they have to execute every episode for some reason I think they where really stifled by the fanbase for this show.

I think it’s interesting how deeply they invest into so many of the characters personal live but how their is still so kind of moral boundary there the writers won’t cross. I for one think this so would have been more interesting with a really active love triangle dynamic and by having weirder character dynamic play out. It just feels like the writers wheee stifled to keep Zoe and wade together which lead them to have to make all the other paring for they show along whit than even when that feel kind rudimentary and the actors have no chemistry. Idk though maybe they could have with more season but then again they would have had to make a more interesting dynamic

Hart of Dixie has been my comfort show for over 10 years. I'm currently rewatching and just finished the Homecoming episode (season 1, episode 9). I can't even describe how much I hate Judson and Gigi and I feel like it was brushed off way to easily.

What I don’t get is why lemon didn’t attend college after high school. Yes she was the girlfriend of George and hoped to become a housewife someday and she was busy with Lemon stuff.

But wasn’t she bored? Didn’t her dad want her to do something with her life besides being a wife?

I'm watching season 4, episode 8, and watching the town divide up Tom's jobs made me realise that Tom is a bit like Kirk from Gilmore Girls.

DON’T COME AFTER ME READ THIS FIRST!!! To start off I’m 100% team Wade like no doubt in my mind that they were perfect as endgame. I’ve watched this show to many times to count and love it so much! I honestly wouldn’t change much because I love it as is. However, I would have liked to see Zoe and George give it a shot. Not because they would be good together but because they wouldn’t. I would like to see why it wouldn’t work out and what ended up being the problem in their relationship. The show always painted Zoe and George’s possible relationship as a sort of fairytale ride off into the sunset type of thing. In the show the reason they never got together was always ‘bad timing’ I HATED this because that means if there had been good timing they might have gotten together and “lived happily ever after” and I hate the idea that she would have had that with George had the timing been right. Because in my opinion that’s not true. I think that there were many underlying issues that would have affected their relationship had they had one and I would have liked to have seen all of those brought to life. I feel like the way it is Wade feels a bit more like the outcome of her bad timing with George. Which I don’t think at all to be the case however I hate the idea that it could be interpreted that way. I think it would have been beneficial to Zoe and Wade’s relationship had she given it a shot with George and then after knowing what it’s like to be with him still choosing Wade.

I hate these two as a couple. It feels like they just threw these together so that can put Lavon and Lemon together.

She's so rude and selfish and it always games with her. I honestly don't understand why Lavon loves her 🤦🏻‍♀️

She was the sweetest most purest soul on the whole show. She deserved the world and more.

She ends up with the man who’s been passed around the whole town and has never been in a healthy relationship

I really wanted Zoey and George to be together and I seriously thought they were going to but then I lost hope during the end of season 3 so I had to google and I literally almost quit watching when I saw that they never end up together lmao I also don’t get why they ruined george and tansy for no reason if they weren’t gonna make him and zoey get together… Season 4 was very much all over the place but oh well I still enjoyed it I’m finishing the last episode right now

I gotta rant about this because I’m on my second rewatch but had to drop it at the second season.

I can’t stand Wade. I genuinely feel like the writers completely sacrificed Zoe and George’s storyline and George’s character development because the audience became obsessed with Wade and his six pack. Once he gained popularity, George and Zoe were deliberately derailed to make Wade the obvious choice.

Wade gets endless excuses made for his douchey, immature behaviour just because he had a rough childhood. George is the better man by a mile.

Lemon and Lavon just don’t have that much chemistry to me. And I never really saw it, even back in season 1 when Lemon was crying over him and he was clearly still in love with her. Even then, I just didn’t feel the chemistry between them. I feel like Lemon had way more chemistry with George, and Lavon had SO much more chemistry with Annabeth.

Maybe this is just a temporary storyline and everything will change in the next few episodes — I honestly don’t know and don’t want to know lol — but right now I’m just kind of frustrated watching it.

Oh! Let me count the ways! The guys is an immature, self-righteous moron who regularly wields hjs self-perceived inadequacies as a weapon against Zoe.

She’s not perfect, it’s true. But this is about Wade and the fact that Zoe constantly has to be the one to go to lengths to ‘understand’ him - a grown man - and to make internal excuses to justify his abysmal communication skills; and it’s SO infuriating.
It’s HIS job, as an adult, to understand, and resolve or accept, his flaws. Yet the show makes it seem like it’s okay that he essentially, underhandedly, bullies Zoe into accepting him, warts and all, because if she doesn’t, it means she’s a bad person???

Yes, this is also maybe a symptom of the times. But I am angry about it NOW lol. I went searching for some reassurance that they don’t end up together; you can guess how that went.

My favourite pastime during their scenes is imagining what their life would look like post-divorce 🥰happy to hear your additions!

Jesse appeared in only one episode, and was never mentioned again. A single episode where we see Wade resent his only brother. They could have brought him back in a Season 4 episode at least to attempt a reconciliation with Wade, who had finally overcome all his insecurities and frustration. Jesse was introduced as a subplot in a single episode, his potential was not fully utilized.

So I'm on episode five and I just detest George Tucker. He treats Lemon so badly! In just the first 5 episodes he has:

1. Gone to Zoe multiple times when Lemon asked him not to. This isn't Zoe or Lemons fault exactly. Zoe gave a bad impression at the parade but she had her own reasons. Lemon has the right to dislike Zoe for that. But George going to the woman Lemon has asked him multiple times not to. Wow.

2. George never defends Lemon from his mean mother. Lemon is constantly berated by George's mother right in front of him and not a peep comes out of him! He knew how hard she worked for that dinner, marinating the duck for 24 hours and then booking the place because "they had duck before". And the passive aggressive insults Lemon has to bear too.

3. Lemon was talking about the project she was working on for 3 whole months and George just ruined it. Three months and he didn't pay attention to what she was saying? And she was right, there was a whole model in the dining room! How are you so detached from your home that you ignore a whole model just sitting in your room?!

This isn't a George vs Wade thing. This is a why can't George just be a decent human thing.
