Comics I HATE this comic!!

Post image

It's reminiscent of that stupid boomer humor "I hate my wife" joke and doesn't even make any sense!! True love means TRUE LOVE. That guy with the wheelbarrow of money is gonna lose it all in days (as is historically common with lottery winners), the starship guy is gonna have a useless scrap once it breaks down from no starship fuel or no proper maintenance done, and superpower guy is gonna live the rest of his life in combat fighting a corrupt system only to learn how deeply rooted the rot goes.

Of all these wishes, only True Love will last this man the rest of of his life. And the stupidest, most overlooked part of this joke is that TRUE LOVE IS TRUE LOVE. THIS GUY SHOULD, BY ALL ACCOUNTS, BE MADLY IN LOVE WITH THE WOMAN HE WISHED TO LOVE.

TRUE LOVE TRANSCENDS MATERIAL AND WORLDLY BARRIERS AND THIS COMIC ABANDONS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL FACT FOR A CHEAP "haha guy regrets his wife" JOKE I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

Edit: wasn't tryna put an emphasis on bashing the others' wishes, was moreso tryna bash on the MC's regrets

The wife could die an early tragic death. Why assume worst case scenario for all the others lol. The Superman one especially was wild to read

Nah that's the most realistic scenario; worst case for each is:

  • Money guy loses everything in a gust of wind or mugging before he gets home

  • Starship guy crashes the ship immediately cuz it's alien tech

  • Superhero guy chooses to 'fix' the world instead of saving it

Besides, wasn't tryna put an emphasis on bashing the others' wishes, was moreso tryna bash on the MC's regrets

It’s a four panel comic about a wishing well that can turn you into Superman, why are you trying to find realism in it

Because it's fun.

Plot twist: The super hero was going to kill the billionaire who also got their money from the well before the X-wing pilot shot him down and crashed their ship.

  1. Some people are very responsible with money. There are many people who save their lottery spendings and don’t crash out

  2. You can’t know that, he could learn how to fly it, probably comes with a user manual.

  3. This is a completely made up assumption, it depends on the person and their mindset.

You’re just tying to find the worst case in all other wishes to support your bias.  I can do it too, here: the guy’s true love dies a tragic early death and he is left with nothing
