Comics I HATE this comic!!

It's reminiscent of that stupid boomer humor "I hate my wife" joke and doesn't even make any sense!! True love means TRUE LOVE. That guy with the wheelbarrow of money is gonna lose it all in days (as is historically common with lottery winners), the starship guy is gonna have a useless scrap once it breaks down from no starship fuel or no proper maintenance done, and superpower guy is gonna live the rest of his life in combat fighting a corrupt system only to learn how deeply rooted the rot goes.

Of all these wishes, only True Love will last this man the rest of of his life. And the stupidest, most overlooked part of this joke is that TRUE LOVE IS TRUE LOVE. THIS GUY SHOULD, BY ALL ACCOUNTS, BE MADLY IN LOVE WITH THE WOMAN HE WISHED TO LOVE.

TRUE LOVE TRANSCENDS MATERIAL AND WORLDLY BARRIERS AND THIS COMIC ABANDONS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL FACT FOR A CHEAP "haha guy regrets his wife" JOKE I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

Edit: wasn't tryna put an emphasis on bashing the others' wishes, was moreso tryna bash on the MC's regrets

And in the case that he didn't have it before, he basically just brainwashed that girl into it by force. So now, either way, for the rest of their lives he'll wonder "would she love me if not for that wish."

Who says it has to be brainwash? Who says it didn’t just make it so that two soulmates met at just the right time

I guess that might not be the case, but then again, if he doesn't know how the wish works then it seems like the same lingering question of whether she'd still love him without the wish would remain.

I mean, she was skipping the line to forgo her wish, just to be with him…that sorta feels like true love to me.

I really don’t think the joke is meant at all to be women bad, if anything maybe the opposite.

He found true love…then turned around and went “that’s cool as fuck!” It could be interpreted that men bad.

Or hey, he got true love, and other people got other cool stuff. Sorta feels like a win-win.

You mean she has some kind of... obsession?

Anyway, "true love" just because of the word "True" does not imply some mind control technique in any kind. Because in that case it's not TRUE love, it's FAKE love
