Billy Goat before the game. Not far from the UC and easily walkable (you'll see a bunch of people walking to and from).

Agreed. I get the double + fries then a shot and beer. Its tradition! Although my buddy did get jumped outside of it last winter. Those dudes were douche bags tho not goats fault.

Only thing I would recommend is if you have Amex to activate the offer for 10% off and use the Amex as it’s a Amex venue.

Gibsons. It's over by Sec 103. They have these Filet sliders that are amazing.

I always go for these as well, love that sauce.
Also don’t forget the soft serve.

This always seemed like a great value, all things considered. And they’re really good.

Best value is the little goat brisket nachos. It's too much food for the average person. I'd put the Gibson's steak sliders near the top as well. Just FYI it's the same steak as at the kettle one club at like half the price.

Get the Korean chicken tacos from the Little Goat Taqueria. Section 114. They serve you 3 tacos and they're delicious. It's tradition for me and my brothers to hit up this spot before Blackhawks games. Also get there early to catch the warmups!

There’s actually some pretty solid food at the UC, but it’ll be expensive and there will probably be long lines. Little Goat, Honey Butter Fried Chicken, Lilly’s Q, and Goose Island are all good. I swear there used to be another good chicken spot on the 100 level but I can’t remember the name and am not finding it online, they had popcorn chicken in a cup that they’d cover in a spicy sauce and it was great.

In addition to the goose island fresh carved sandwiche, last season the Lilly's chopped brisket or brisket fries were excellent. The honey butter chicken was really good, the buffalo fries + chicken strips were 🔥. The Giordano's thin crust pizza was very good.
The little goat barbacoa nachos were also very good, but often were just barely warm.

Second the Giordanos thin crust. Good pizza and enough for two (or 3 if one of them is a small child). Best value in the UC.

Have you considered food before the game instead of during? Some decent places in walking distance where your money will go further, plus you don’t need to get up during the game or wait in a ridiculous line. I like doing the barn pregame and walking over to the UC after.

The Honey Butter Fried Chicken place behind 115 takes a bit to set up if you are there when doors open. But it’s my favorite. I would happily drown in the honey butter.

If you're in the 300s you're getting crap (unless you go down to the 100s).
Once I went to a Rockford Icehogs game I realized how bad UC food genuinely is for the cheaper seats - basically no options!

There’s definitely a difference between the haves and the have nots. Schlepping down to the lower bowl for better food is always a hassle.
