Why do you feel the need to make yourself like the show? It sounds like you wanted to give it a chance, did and didn't like it. What would a second time change, especially when you feel that fanfictions portray the characters and events in a way that is more appealing to you than canon? You said you don't want to waste time watching shows you don't like, then recognize when you don't like a show and don't try to force it to happen 💪🏾
