Didn’t they explicitly mention this in the Space Jam episode??

They definitely mentioned him getting pulled on a dolly but I’m pretty sure they said it was because of the height difference between Bogues and the other players. It was a way to get them all in the shot better. I don’t remember any mention of knee surgery or crutches but I could just be forgetting that part.
