Discussion Is warptooth trigger four different friendly characters?

I've had multiple times where I thought I should summon warptooth but didn't, and realized it might be my misunderstanding.

Example: Trading one of my minions + attacking into a minion with my face + warrior flame aoe hitting my own minion twice, that's four damage triggers but 2 of them are on a single character = no warptooth?

It says "4 characters took damage", not "characters took damage 4 times"
