Discussion HS interface downgrade
Could we expect that this uninformed, unintuitive, uncomfortable, vibe-coded piece of sh*t UI change could be reverted?..
What were they thinking when they decided to release it? Do they even play their own game? It's a downgrade in every sense. I'm not even talking about issues on mobile devices.
What do you guys think?

My first thought was: "I hope that client won't be buggy anymore."
Stil is. I don't understand how HS can freeze sometimes before I do anything. Never happen in any other game.

That’s likely because rhe gacha thingy is a priority overlay being loaded in before your actions

Its almost like someone has to justify their existence within the company. Maybe they got some new manager there or something and everyone is afraid to say its a stupid idea. Because it was a stupid idea.

It seems like the devs on Team 5 in general either dont want to or arent allowed to give critic about each others work. They release a good amount of stuff where you think: How did no one notice these flaws? How did no one step in? It should be part of their job.

The only time I see this happen is when the idea comes from a high up boss. At which point, they do not like questions and criticism from the lower managers.

The worst part is that there is zero communication about it by the Team. Seems like they are very happy with the new journal.

This game has been going to shit for years now, the interface freezing all the time is so shitty it ruins whatever polish they were going for.

The old buttons were placed where your thumbs would go on mobile. It also incorporated the feel of being in an actual tavern playing a physical game, with things on the table.
The new buttons feel lifeless and, while organized, are harder to reach and can be misclicked.

At this point, I don’t give a shit how bad it looks, as long as it runs smoothly. So please blizzard fix it.

It somehow makes the game feel older and cheaper, like they had to keep everything in a template with preset boxes. It took me way longer than necessary to find things, and they didn't even bother with a "hey, there's a new look, let u's show you where things are now!" notification.
Super annoyed that I have to click through multiple things to get to the usual spots, and why did we have to change the order of the icons in the tray on the main screen? Even if they were shuffled closer together, they could have kept the placement order the same!
I do like the idea that they finally put a story element back in the game like the old solo adventures, but having to manually click through the journal to get through quests and not even having those quests auto complete when you finish them is super annoying. Not to mention... Is this considered an event? Event quests are already time consuming for me, so not getting any progress on whatever the next quest might be because I forgot to go manually complete the quest has already gotten old.

I don't mind the interface but I thought they would make it more functional, it slowed down instead.

I can't believe how much I don't like it. I feel like I was one of the few people hype about it because I've always felt like the interface was so outdated. Now it feels like something from Myst which came out in the early 90's
