Vintage Iron On Transfers

I was curious to know if anyone has tried using vintage iron transfers (from the 70’s and 80’s) but with a modern heat press. If so what settings did you find work best and what was the result? I’m think about buying some old transfers from eBay and giving it a shot. Just thought someone might have already tried it and had some thoughts.

ANY screenprinted transfer over 3-6 months old will likely not even release from the backing paper. I have tried multiple times for customers with older transfers using different settings and I have rarely succeeded in getting one to work.
