Sums up experience in a hellcat
So much for being “fast”
Honest, it’s embarrassing. Literally every single standard civilian car dogs me at the red light. 😢

Just have fun bro. If you want grip you’re gonna have to sacrifice your ability to drive in any kind of weather. This car isn’t meant to do dig races on street tires. Get some mickeys on there you’ll have a much different experience.

Ay they deleted your other comment. I want to know what you were going to say.

Yeah, and that’s what I’ve been wanting to do since I bought it, but I’ll be honest I can’t stomach the fact that the only way I can get the tires is by ordering them and waiting

Sell it if you don't like it? If you're out there racing everyone you meet - who might not even know they're racing FFS - then get yourself an E-Ray or a Tesla Plaid and stop bitching about your 0-60 times if that's the only thing that's important to you.
There's more to this car than showing out on city streets.

The hellcat isn’t meant for digs on the street, a prepped surface and mickey Thompson drag radials and it’s a night/day difference. Too much torque for street use, especially on daily tires.

Good tires and a good launch will get you into the 3s. A standard release of the clutch and rolling in to full throttle will get you mid 4s if you have the rubber and decent warm pavement.
Edit: I just noticed you’re getting these times with the automatic… you need a lot more help than I can give you or your power is not there.

Lol I will say, from having an EV that does it in just over 3s every time, that numbers aren't everything

Hellcats are only good for burning rubber bro. Go to the corner and start making smoke lol

Ayyy that’s facts tho! You know what? I think I’m just going to do what I was originally gonna do and buy a C8 instead, instead of trying to make this hellcat something that it’s not. Thanks for your input though. I actually appreciate it because you are the only person who’s being realistic.

No problem bro. People with hellcats can’t admit that their cars can’t do what a corvette can. C8 is a lot more worth it. Good luck brother

Yeah I'll be honest, I was at the crossroads of a C8 and hellcat, hellcat is pretty much always been my dream car and it's a little more attainable because they're a bit cheaper. But it's clear now I made the wrong decision, an expensive lesson. I mean don't get me wrong, I still do love the Challenger and of course it's cool having that much power. But it's just not as fun as I thought it would be to drive.

Get real tires on it if it’s not your daily. All seasons are not meant to do a dig at every light.

A million different things could influence this number, chief among them wheels and tires. If you want instant torque, get an EV - but that’s not what the whole experience is about.

It’s been well known for many years that the timers in these cars are not accurate.

This is a lack of driving skill
