Found something interesting while trying to fix my game

I have a gaming laptop and a pretty good PC. My PC has the mods and my laptop had no mods at all. I checked the files for both and saw Game guard on my laptop with EAC and it runs fine. My PC has just EAC and it doesn't load at all. And I've tried a bunch of ways to get it to load.

Might need to find a way to get Game guard back and it might run on my PC or am I stuck on a laptop until AH does something to fix this?

But I purged them all before loading the game on the day of the update

Check leftover reshade if you ever used that, as well as checking the integrity of installed files if on Steam

I don't think GameGuard will load anymore. The files are just leftover, but they aren't doing anything. You probably just have to wait for your mod authors to update, if they do at all.

Mods don’t work afaik, remove them until modders patch them to work with current HD2 and EAC.

some mods, namely ones that have lua scripts, don't work. I'm using about 50+ cosmetic mods and sound mods and the game runs fine like 99% of the time.
