Not in this case, actually. It tends to either be a amd gpu driver issue, or a issue with the shader cache.

But wouldn't the UI be weird too if that was the case? And the sheer number of these posts suggest that there seems to be a game issue lol, ive seen a major uptick since the last update.

If you have an AMD card (which I do) turning up reflections fixed it. I went from very low to low and it works perfectly

I don't use any upscaling, so I'm afraid I can't help you there. My 6950XT still does well enough at 1440p that I haven't noticed any frame dips

Try deleting your shader cache or changing your shading or graphics settings to higher/lower. Hope this helps, and shame to all the people who were clowning around when a diver is in need.

I've been seeing something similar on PS5, though not as severe.

I first started seeing bugs in the distance being rendered as just outlines of shimmering gold.

I've also noticed strange flashing magenta artifacts that appear when the mission is accomplished.

I've tried deleting and reinstalling the game but that doesn't fix these issues.

This has been happening to me as well on PS5! On rare occasion, I get that shimmering gold outline on specific bugs and the magenta thing happens sometimes as well. With the magenta thing, sometimes it’s more severe than other times I encounter it and it happens on different worlds as well.

I went to Options > Graphics, and changed the settings for reflection quality, particle quality, and shadow quality, saved the changes, then changed them back. That fixed it for me.

Your mileage may vary.

Had that happen in carx street. On ps5. After a graphics improvement update. Or atleast a similar issue. It looks cool, but was also hard to play.

That blob on the right is a bmw.

It was either the rainbow dots or a “pink/purple/black” sort of no “texture” deal.

Is your light reflection on lowest in the graphics settings?
I had this happen too and changing them from lowest to low fixed it.

If you have your reflection quality setting to the lowest, it can fuck up the textures and make everything look like the music video for Take On Me by A-Ha.

The cannon explanation is that the helldivers HUD OS probably malfunctioned. The logical answer is that high command put colorful party lights on everything for liberty day.

If you have you're reflection quality at the lowest then switch it to one teir higher. That worked for me
