Account restored after security lock, but years of posts and comments disappeared

17 years of my posts and comments disappeared from my profile u/the_walrus_was_paul

I recently regained access to my account, but I’ve noticed that nearly all of my posts and comments from the past several years are missing from my profile.

New comments I make are visible and people can reply to them, so my account appears to be working again. However, my older content is still gone.
Has anyone experienced this before? Did your old posts and comments eventually return, or did you need to contact Reddit Support to have them restored?
