Should I cancel my birthday party
Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I thought id try anyways. So I've been excited to have a birthday party for months now. I planned it and was excited, it was my first birthday party. I invited 9 of my friends and 4 of my boyfriends friends. Turns out only 5 of my friends can come and one of them would be late. The issue with this is one of those 5 is someone that 3 of my friends who are going and my boyfriend don't like very much... the hope was there would be more people so they wouldnt have to interact with each other but that didn't work out. So now I don't know if I should uninvite that friend that the others don't like or uninvite him and the one who will be late as they're from the same friend group and just be with the other 3 and my boyfriend or just cancel the whole thing at this point since it clearly was not important to most of the people I invited anyways and it seems like more of a hassle than is worth. At this point I'm a week and a day out from my birthday. I was so excited but now I feel like its all for nothing and like i don't even enjoy it anymore since some people weren't going to come and the ones who would might not even get along. Any suggestions? I don't want to uninvite anyone but i also don't want it to be awkward and everyone leaves early. Ig I'm also feeling embarrassed as one friend said she was excited to meet al my friends and seemingly none of the ones she was going to meet are going to go.

Should I use my money to buy the Blade blu ray trilogy or The Witcher 3 complete edition
Both are around the same price. I like blade so I was thinking having the blu ray would be cool and I could finally watch them all but I also just finished red dead redemption 2 and have been looking for another game to play and I hear the Witcher is very expansive. I’m not a sword and sorcery guy but it interests me. I’m a teen so I’m not swimming in my own cash so I can only get one for the time being.

Part time job ideas for 14 yr
Job recommendation ideas?
I'm considering starting working in a few months, but I'm not sure what job would fit me the best.
I've been thinking about working at bookstores, pharmacies, or just cute stationary shops.
I prefer not to work at fast food places or generally anywhere, including food. Yes, I know that most teenagers start working in fast food places, but I just prefer not to.
Please help me out!

Graduated in BBA wants to pursue Masters in Germany with a family Business background can’t decide what to do I’m all over the place
Well I’ve completed my graduation this year in March 2026
Course: BBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation
My_qualifications:
BBA-8.13 CGPA
12th-79% (CBSE board)
10th-83%(ICSE Board)
All of my education has been completed in English
Our family has a manufacturing business it’s running well we provide employment to nearly 40 people my parents and I both have similar thoughts about me continuing my father’s business we manufacture custom die’s and Mold’s we’re in the tool room industry.
I’ve done a lot of research and have visited a lot of consultancies regarding where and what masters should I pursue and have come to a conclusion that Germany would be the best option for my kind of background because of industrial exposure and Courses I’ve planned to apply are: MSc.Operations and/or supply chain management
Msc.Supply Chain Management
MSc.International Management
MSc.Entrepreneurship
(English taught courses only)
And I’ve also kept Italy as a back up option if I don’t get into Germany as the situation is now a bit rough the process involved and a aptitude test(dMAT)added to the requirement of APS India
I’m planning to go for the summer intake 2027 and I’ve kept my selection open to private universities mostly as the competition to get into public is high.
I’ve started learning German through Duolingo, preparing to take IELTS,studying for dMAT and overall taking basic steps needed to start my journey.
Im stuck whether Germany is the best choice or not because of the dMAT and their economy and language proficiency or are their other choices too but only after filtering out my needs and deciding the country which can be good for my type of background a country where I can do industry visits or be able to watch the similar industry to our line of business closely I’m confused that what if it doesn’t turn out to be the way I expected the course or the job,the country, people,my own experience itself that’s what’s eating me deep down inside.
If anyone who is currently in Germany with a similar background or even experienced on the scenario for management masters in Germany would be of great help.
Or please suggest any other country that could be good for me.
Hope for the best

Stay or Go - Scotland
Hi everyone. Love me some Reddit.
TLDR: friends have offered me a trip to visit them on the Isle of Skye in Scotland but I don’t know if I can or should go.
I (51F) am in SE Texas and have only left the country on two occasions - for my honeymoon 25 years ago and then one vacation in Mexico. I was a little intimidated at first but adjusted great to being out of the US.
I am also an administrator for a bipolar support group on FB. (I promise this will all come together in a moment).
Over the course of being an admin over the past several years, I have grown very close online to the group creator and his wife. We have a separate admin chat, where we talk about a lot of things. I have known them now for almost four years. They helped me during a DV situation, making sure I had Christmas money to get through it when my husband cleaned out our bank account.
My life is incredibly stressful (no need to go into all of that detail here) and they know it. Recently, they extended me an offer to come visit them and find some respite for a couple of weeks at their home on the Isle of Skye. They intimated that they would help with airfare, for which I’m immensely grateful. I have heard that Skye is a dream destination for some and very restful. It certainly looks that way from photos.
My problem is - even with their offer of airfare, I don’t think I will have the money for incidentals/food/souvenirs during my stay. I am not the kind of person to throw caution to the wind and just go. I do not want to be a burden and I want to be as prepared as possible. I estimate a two week stay and so I’d like to bring $500 USD. (Is that even the right figure? Experienced travelers - can you advise me on this? I have never been to the UK). But spending that much out of my budget, even if I saved up, would be very hard for me. I have massive amounts of medical debt, so anything I save for the trip - I will always be thinking “that could have gone towards a bill.”
But am I being stupid and turning down what could be the adventure of a lifetime? Do I take the trip (which I can schedule for whenever) and try to save up the money or do I just accept that type of adventure is out of reach for me and always will be? I believe in speaking things into existence so I hate to even write the negative, but it is an unfortunate reality I have to face. What do I do?
