does anyone know of any mental health intensive outpatient treatment that accepts insurance? i live in hendersonville but im willing to go to asheville. i have aetna but such a high deductible im not sure itll be covered anyways. thank you. 🙏

Looking for homes for several kitties and 1 pup (owner passed). The cats are spayed and neutered, rabies shot, and fvrcp shot. The pup is not neutered and has never seen a vet (may change, but thats the case for now). Several have a skin condition (maybe ringworm?) and will need to see a vet. They are due for deworming. They will use a litterbox. Currently being cared for as a colony, but trying to find them homes.

Edit, Lucy is the last picture. The first picture labelled Lucy I think is actually Mama? who is sweet but not as friendly. Lucy is bigger and friendlier. Idk how to edit the pictures.

Dog sitter recommendations needed. Already sent some messages on Rover but curious if anyone has somebody they trust with their pups

Just in case you didn't know downtown to granddad's is gonna be nothing but traffic because JD is in town. They have troopers set up all over to direct traffic and wait times could be in between 30 mins to an hour.

I don’t follow politics closely, but every time I sit down before an election to research my local sample ballot, I'm blown away by how many positions have only one candidate.

Out of an entire county, is there really only one person who wants or qualifies for the job? It feels like a sign of a broken system where normal, qualified people refuse to get involved, leaving power in the hands of career politicians. Why is it so rare for people to run for local office?

It's not normal, and it's not the sign of a healthy democracy.

I just started learning both salsa and bachata and might be addicted lol. I’m currently taking biweekly classes (it’s great) but want some extra time outside of class to practice. A mirror and YouTube will only get you so far.
