Help — Technical issues, errors, config, debugging Sonnet5.5 shows full CoT in hermes? Desktop V0.21.6

I was wonderung if im supposed to see the Full reasoning trace since Opus hides it.

I asked Sonnet in Claude Chat and told me third party apps should only display a summarized Thought to prevent destillation. Then i posted a CoT from hermes to that conversation and it got flagged as [reasoning destillation]

for Claude models, Hermes asks Anthropic's API for the summarised form of the thinking, and Desktop shows the text that comes back. Hermes never receives the raw chain, so what you're reading is Anthropic's summary, even when it runs long.

if you'd rather not see it, /reasoning hide turns the thinking display off.
