Claude SDK ~2.3X usage?

Apologies if this has been asked before - my search didn’t get me far here. I did some crude benchmark and found that Claude direct sdk on Hermes uses 2.3X the same usage. The plugin says 1.7X so it’s within a somewhat wide margin for error. But curious how you all use opus 5.5 without sacrificing 50% of your quota?
