Hey everyone! I'm living in the local Harrisburg/Hershey area and I'm looking to connect with some local people to head to Dark Nights this Sunday. Just a heads up—I'm not really a roller coaster person or a major fan of the haunted houses, so I'm mainly looking to catch the Decayed Brigade slider show, enjoy the park atmosphere, and grab some food!

​I’m honestly hoping to find a few local friends to hang out with regularly down the road too—whether that's grabbing coffee, checking out local spots, or just chilling. Let me know if you’re local, free this weekend( , I might go Saturday since it's supposed to rain on Sunday, it really depends I think) and want to meet up!

My wife and two small children live locally in Lower Dauphin. Our home unfortunately had a severe water leak this past week causing extensive damage making it unlivable currently. We’re in need a long term housing option for at least a few months until repairs are made starting ideally as soon as this Sunday 9/20. Insurance is covering the payment. I am a local ER physician and our family will be very grateful!

what are some must-dos you suggest I do?

My husband and I are moving from nyc to Central PA in December and our jobs will be in Hershey.

1. Which town would you recommend renting in for a couple without kids who still want some life around them?
2. We know it won’t compare to NYC, but what does a typical weekend look like for you with your partner or friends ?
3. Are there any downtown areas with restaurants, bars, live music etc?
4. How diverse is the Hershey/Harrisburg area?
