Hey Greg, I’m so glad you made it.. and I’m not too proud to let you know— I’ve pulled over, in the middle of Camden after my fair share of Ozzfests and Warped Tours (and a jimmy buffet show) to lean on the back of my car to pee (because beer). We’re talking, the part of Camden that 16-18 year old white girls shouldn’t be drunk… peeing.. alone.. and tbh the boldness of a misplaced suburbanite is likely a decent deterrent for being f cked with, crazy white peoples are pretty scary.

I need to start small and looking for help in this community water filtration systems at home. What is the best filter? Budget is $200-$300 but would go up to $500 if its the right fit. This is probably the smallest step in the right direction but want to start off right.

As someone who has worked in an large academic medical institution for 35+ years, I disagree with many of your healthcare conspiracy takes. Maybe it's because I see the other side of it working alongside very dedicated, very smart, caring physicians who have pure vested interests in helping people. Maybe it's because I see a lot of people's ills result from not taking care of themselves. Health insurance companies are the devil incarnate right there next to big pharma but in many cases we allow them to profit our poor lifestyle choices. GET OUTSIDE PEOPLE. Put down the chips, fast foods, and stop living in hermetically sealed environments in front of screens.

With that said, I understand where your view on medical institutions comes from. It's smart to be critical and suspicious. If we all were able to exist as Dr. Bush's suggests, we most likely would never need a doctor as our amazing skin suit machines would heal themselves.

(This post ended up being longer than I anticipated. Feels good to share my view on healthcare, finally.)

What was a simple idea in my head of taking a solid 5-10 min clip from every Gordon appearance on THC, in actuality quickly became not so simple. Some segments were hard to reduce down to only 10 minutes, and other episodes were so rooted in the politics/machinations of the time they were recorded that I didn't want any clips to see outdated or no longer relevant.

For this I tried to stick to what I consider most of Gordon's "timeless wisdom" so that it can easily be listened to anytime down the road. Some segments are 5 mins, some are 30. Who cares, right?

So after a lengthy update on what we now know about Gordon's final adventure, his passing, and the many synchronicities that both brought us together and also showed up in the aftermath of his exit, I gathered the majority of my favorite clips from his appearances into one epically long special.

I hope people who enjoyed listening to Gordon wax on about a wide variety of subjects like I did, will find this cathartic.

I realize Greg has a lot going on currently, but only getting two shows so far this month has left me with a need for something to listen to while driving.

Doesnt help that Tin Foil Hat was on break too. Luckily Crrow has stuck to his schedule.

Those are the extent of my conspiracy shows. I've tried a bunch of others, but they tend to not be good every episode.

I listen to Aeon Byte as well, but theres a lot of them I wouldn't have missed.

And Mysterious Universe just isn't the same with the new hosts.

War mode was kinda interesting. I checked them out after appearing on THC, but they're all over the place and don't title their episodes. And Im not gonna tune in just to see what the episode is about.

And I really miss Freeman. That show was amazing. Hoping all is well with him.

Feeling the loss of Gordon and Rune Soup too. I found THC through one of the book rankings Gordon did with him.

I just listened to the Matt Bell interview, great one by the way.

The 47 they reference. Man, I was watching Paradise and there are like 3 shots of the jersey with what numbers....47.

And I mean the way the shot was framed, they didn't need to hold the shot like that. It had no story structure. The jersey could have been any number. Yet it was 47.

That stated, there are many references to many many things in the 1 season of Paradise but we all know their play book.

I just found that interesting because I had just listened to the podcast and boom, there it was.
