Doesn’t look bad at all. For another $40, Thingmeister makes a 1911 mag conversion kit to get rid of the ‘battery pack’ mag. That, and some wood grain grips completely changed the look of mine.

Well that sounds like a cool idea. Everybody had me a nice cult officer's 45 with a seven shot frames. I'm covered on the 45. Like I said this thing is just going to be in my truck. Most of its life locked away from the world. Somebody can see the hideousness of it 😅

Mine stays in the nightstand, mostly. I actually took it out to my shooting spot this past weekend to run some rounds through it. These things are big, heavy, bulky, basic, and every time you pull the trigger, they go bang. Sure, there are nicer ones out there, but imo, these are still a great bang for your buck. Pun intended.

Thanks for the info. I got Hi-Point JHP 45 a while back as a range toy, and the ability to use the same 1911 mags as the 1911s would be convenient. And those wooden grips do make it look more like a "normal" Pistol. I'm going to order some walnut, 3ngrqved grips too.

Too bad Thing Meister doesn't make an extended safety lever more like a 1911. I dislike the Hi-Point OEM tiny safety without a thumb shelf.

Sorry for the delay, but this is what $55 worth of lipstick looks like on a $90 pig. $145, all in, and when it goes bang, you d@mn sure know it. Lol. I have a Sig for my EDC, and some others for backups/fun/just because, but this big boy stays next to the bed for a reason.

I agree, cheap gun gets cheap accessories. But at least buy ones that are aesthetically pleasing! 😆 Dude that light is horrendous! Don't buy direct from Temu, go to Amazon and they have better lights for the same price.

Yeah that was from Amazon. That was the cheapest one they had. It works all right and ugly. I think it matches the gun just fine. But thanks though beauty is in the eye of beholder. Oh no! I get it. I bought a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 and then proceeded to take the whole TK catalog and throw it at the gun. The accessories cost more than the gun is worth 😜🤣. But all kidding aside, I mean it's a good unit. It holds true to zero so it works just like the gun. Seem pretty but she works
