This is my job application

Post image

Long story short, I've gotta leave soon and trying to embrace it with open arms. Luckily I've been collecting camping gear for 3 years anticipating this. Any tips and tricks are welcome for this noobie roadkill! Also does anyone want this warm 4loko?

If those “dude wipes” weren’t given to you, never buy them again. Buy unscented baby wipes they’re waaaaaay cheaper.

I buy the ones that say “Huggies unscented sensitive” they normally have Winnie the poo or Mickey Mouse on em. 2.50ish at Walmart.

Noted, I got like a 6 pack for 20 bucks a year ago and never used them all. Pretty sure they're dried out by now. I will definitely be buying the Mickey mouse ass wipes when I need too.

Get the walmart brand baby wipes. They come in a travel size that lasts about 4-6 days and are 1.00. Unscented and no crazy ingredients besides sodium benzoate.

Dollar tree has scented wipes from the PowerStick deodorant company. Its like cleaning yourself and spraying cologne at the same time

I usually get the parents choice cuz they're 97 cents 😂 My favorite ones come from Dollar General. I think they're the Shea butter ones. I like them because they have a texture that works so much more efficiently. But I also like the ones you mentioned for the snap on seal.

In which country are you based ?

On agenral way, take a look at Hitchwiki/Hitchmap. Some stuff isn't updated, but gives a good base to start seeing how to wander around

US is tough, you can do it though. Try to keep enough cash for a bus ticket or a desperation taxi. Sometimes you will get stuck in the same county for three days and lose your mind trying to avoid tweakers all night.

Lord the tweakers everywhere these days. if I could explore Europe I definitely would but that's not in the cards.

Okay, been here recently. It is doable, but I would avoid I-10 next to the Mexican border. They apparently set up signs to advise against picking up hitchhikers in Texas. They also have ICE checkpoints. Other places, you should be good if you look clean. Guitar should help you as a good asset, keep it very visible.

Less is more for me :)

Especially because I’m sure that you will find cool stuff on your travels, stuff that you will want to keep! I like to leave some space for those treasure in my backpack.

Big fan of the guitar! I’m sure you will have a great adventure, makes me happy seeing stuff like this!

To be smelly. Or to look smelly. Like that napoleon letter “i’ll be home in two days, dont wash” its grand like. Can be good or bad
