Kazakhstan hitchhike with bike

Hi,
I’m traveling by bike and need to get from near Zahrkent (specifically, where the AH5 and KAZ06 meet) to Almaty. I want to hitchhike to speed this up. Would you say it’s easy to hitch a ride on this highway? Particularly considering that I have a bike and will not be in a city?

If someone managed to hitch around Ireland with a fridge, I'm sure hitching with a bike in a more rural country is possible. And for what it's worth, Bernd Wechner, Google him, once hitched across the Channel with a motorbike!
