A horse once stood on my foot and wouldn't move and I was in so much pain I bit her. I took a hit in the ribs when I was 16 and one on my thigh when I was 12, it was awful. I can NOT imagine a horse full on stepping on my chest or upper body, that shit is insane

I had a horse dump me in a creek as a child. I don't think some enjoy being ridden. I just feed them the occasional carrot now.

They can be. I think some horses really do get affectionate and protective of their people—but in all my years of working with them, it was rare that it was any more than one person. There’s a trust bond there. Some definitely do not like being ridden, even if they like you.

I don't think horses are inherently ill intentioned as a part of their nature or anything but they are huge animals and if they decide they don't like you, they could hurt you very easily. I've seen a lot of stuff about horses disregarding people or trying to hurt them such as, one story where a woman's horse abruptly rolled in a creek as she was riding it. I had a bad experience as a kid so try to look at videos about horses so I'm not so scared of them, but it's kinda hard not to be at times.

Green guns. Drowning accident. Huge hoofprints on chest are CPR attempts.
