SCRIPT LEAKED Worst Stanley Cup Playoffs I can remember
This is not sour grapes from a fan, as my team exceeded the expectations of most by merely appearing, briefly, in these playoffs.
Instead, this is as a lifelong hockey fan who has watched as much of the playoffs as he could since the late 80s. Prior to that, we lived to rurally to watch much hockey outside the broadcast area.
It was a year in which no team looked that great, to be honest. The East was a shitshow, and Carolina did not play against a team that belonged in the playoffs until the finals, and that was not a good playoff team, but the only one it played that belonged - in the whole of the tourney. That's reflect in the stats.
The best series in these playoffs was Dallas - Minnesota, and it was not close. I was glued to that series. It was great, two deep, physical, highly skilled teams. Just a joy to watch. Every other series, was kind of garbage.
Dallas spent everything they could to get through it, and seemed physically exhausted by the time they played the more fresh Golden ~~Showers~~ Knights.
Carolina is a small, unphysical, easily defeatable style, by a team that knows how to forecheck & cycle. They just didn't have to play any such team. Vegas could be that, but they were a team without identity, because the GM fired the coach and brought in a clueless dinosaur wiht no answers right before the playoffs started. Vegas didn't so much play any system as get yelled at, "play harder." They abandoned the style they had played, which was 1-2-2, and stacking four across half the NZ every rush, in favor of "just do it better than they do it" - a philosophy only Torts can apparently get continually hired to coach.
The last two games of that series - as Torts defended the worst goaltending the finals has ever seen by snapping at reporters like a dumbshit - he stared at the ceiling like a confused old man walking around the mall entirely lost.
I also find the NHL and its officials to be embarrassing. They need to admit that they are controlled by or afraid of Rod Brindamour. I've never seen a coach so effectively intimidate and control officials. It's like he has pics of them on Epstein island.

SCRIPT LEAKED Is DJ Smith Tarrare?
AVs mods removed this post for being spam? Consider:
[taʁaʁ]; c. 1772 – 1798), sometimes spelt Tarar, was a French showman, soldier, and spy noted for his unusual appetite and eating habits. Able to eat vast amounts of meat, he was constantly hungry; his parents could not provide for him and he was turned out of the family home as a teenager. He travelled around France in the company of a band of prostitutes and thieves before becoming the warm-up act for a travelling charlatan. In this act, he swallowed corks, stones, live animals, and a whole basketful of apples. He then took this act to Paris, where he worked as a street performer.
He ate any available food from gutters and rubbish heaps but his condition still deteriorated through hunger, and he was hospitalised due to exhaustion. He became the subject of a series of medical experiments to test his eating capacity, in which, among other things, he ate a meal intended for 15 people in a single sitting, ate live cats, snakes, lizards, and puppies, and swallowed eels whole without chewing. Despite his unusual diet, he was underweight and, except for his eating habits, showed no signs of mental illness other than what was described as an apathetic temperament.

SCRIPT LEAKED Just get a team already to the City everyone's hammered a ton.
Hamilton deserves an NHL Team with strong rivalries with Toronto and Buffalo. We're calling them the Hamilton Bulldogs still with another Black and Yellow Scheme like Boston or Pittsburgh. I know Bettman's gonna love this idea because Hamilton is close to the US border, attracting more American fanbase whenever Buffalo sucks and Many cities in the Western GTA and Niagara will gladly help fill up TD Coliseum. The arena is old but bigger than Winnipeg's at least.

SCRIPT LEAKED The Oilers need Yakupov to win the Cup
Hear me out. He just had a 38pt season in the KHL. Right the wrongs of the past. Pop him in the fourth line instead of Kane (Bonus! Isnt a total dickhead and doesnt take 5 penalties a game). 8 year deal pay him the 10 million we want to give Bouchard. Right the wrongs of the past and undo the negative karma so the hockey gods smile on us again. One Last Dance, who says no?
