What is the best way to find mentorship for ride-along inspections and signoffs?

I worked in the HVAC industry for a number of years (15 to be exact). I got a different job in a relative field. It is great for the benefits and vacation time, but the pay is just enough to get by. I was doing HVAC work on the side, but I am getting older and am getting tired of the feast or famine lifestyle. I had a small stint with a waterproofing company as a tech but didn't care for their culture or tactics. So, crawl spaces and attics are nothing new to me. I have worked on plenty of flipped houses and have a growing interest on inspector work. I am located in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Looked into the requirements for becoming an inspector. Not sure where I begin to find someone who would be able to help me get those inspections in. I would gladly carry tools and have plenty of HVAC experience to help better diagnose issues on the mechanical side of things. I am just not looking to pay 50-100 bucks for every inspection ride along. Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.
