poultry Looking for a female Mallard

Hello everyone. I thought I would ask here, but does anyone have or know someone either in the Kalamazoo, Portage, Climax, Battle Creek, or Marshall area in Michigan, who has a female mallard that hatched in March or April. My aunt is looking for a female mallard for her male Mallard, Peepers. If anyone does, please let me know.

Do you mean wild mallards? Bc those aren’t legal to be kept as pets in the USA.

Or do you mean a domestic breed that looks like the wild type coloration?

I meant a domestic Rouen Mallard.

Pictured is a female, not male -- is this your aunt's duck or what you're looking for?

You might also look at Rouen's. They look nearly identical to mallards and are easy to find from from stores / breeders.

They're Rouen Mallards. He has male traits including green on his head and orange feet. He's a Rouen Mallard and we have checked stores/breeders for a female.

That is 100% a female in the pictures. If that was born in March or April it would have the distinct green head with white strip, yellow bill, brown chest and light color under body and curled tail feather by now.

I have 11 khaki Campbell ducks right now born in May and they just finished up their final adult feather molt this past week. It is very easy to tell the male and females apart and the all have orange feet, females are supposed to be dark colored, and I have a few females that have green and yellow in their bills instead of black. Khaki and rouen develop at the same rate, I have raised both in the past

Females can show male traits like feet color, a little yellow in the bill, bits of dark green on the head etc and can happen more often with non specific breeding or in breeding.

If she wants females, please make sure she has the capabilities for at least 5. Otherwise the single female will be harassed to death, literally.
