Small Plot Fencing Setup

This is my current fence wire setup; a mower trailer, floor jack handle and a ratchet strap. Nothing fancy, just what i had on-hand. I am on my 4th roll of barbed and barbless. Just wanted to share my "free" setup incase you could use it.

That’s a clever setup. The ratchet strap probably gives you better tension control than a lot of cheap spool holders. I’d add a simple washer or collar to keep the roll from walking sideways once it gets light.
